New Acoustik kite is under development.
The idea is to have Top Performance Elegant Freestyle kite, beautiful rotations, easy tricks and transitions from trick to trick.
The 1st prototype is based on BB10 (and BB8) with some small changes. The size is exactly what I want - Big and stable but not too much (still can spin fast in tricks). I try 1 and 2 stand-off configurations.

It's around:
230 x 93 cm
235g (with 18g t.w.)
146.4cm LEs
SkyShark Nitro + 6mm Structil

Some sort of UL/L but in the videos below you can see what happens in 0-4km/h and in 30-40km/h wind.
Lazy Susan and backspin combinations are extremely good. The 1-pop Yo-Yo's were surprisingly difficult. I made some changes to improve them but again it needs more adjustments in that direction.

I need your support! Please, leave a comment if you like it.
You can pre-order now on reduced price. The finished kite will be above 300 euros.

Also, there's gonna be smaller, much more cheaper version.

Let's write some info here :)

At the beginning I was thinking to make it with 1 stand-off or 2 very close together. After some tests with different lengths and positions is clear that A3 sail works better with 2 stand-offs much far away from each other that I expected (distance 5.5cm). I also changed the LE & TEs curves, shorter top spreader, connector & Central-T positions, bigger wingspan...... with other words many parameters are under observation in different winds.

Here some footage:

Unfortunately, I don't like the panels at the centre. The idea was to have the contours of the original Acoustik but somehow it doesn't looks well to me. Also, it's very difficult (much more time!) to build well.
